I just installed libreoffice-gnome, libreoffice-gtk2 (this one was automatically installed with the previous one), and libreoffice-gtk3. So results : now the checkboxes appear everytime now (for each one of the four command lines you provided but also when I launch LO directly through the Cinnamon's main menu (.i.e. with command : libreoffice --writer %U).
