<pre>Now works for me.
It has suddenly started working again for me. I don't know why.
There are reports going back to 2005 of an identical bug with Excel. I have
found no convincing explanation in these bug reports. The consensus seems to be
that some other application is grabbing CNTL-D. But the error seemed to persist
in safe mode.</pre>
