<pre>So, in addition to DirectWrite Direct2D rendering quality, there is also a
noticeable performance impact from refactored font handling at 5.3 on Windows
builds.
Rendering multiple text objects--especially cells in a Calc sheet when
scrolling or resizing [1][2]--has slowed with default HA or CPU only rendering,
though still reasonable with OpenGL.
Likely requires additional font caching of some kind.
