It asks for a phone number to send you an SMS with a verification code.

We chat in it like others chat in IRC or whatsapp, but our chats are logged, so
even if you joined today, you can see the discussions that happened a week ago.
I use the desktop app, as i hate chatting on smartphones.</pre>
