<span class="quote">> I figured out what the problem is. Microsoft is trying to force me to buy their Office Suite. They updated on Nov. 7, 2017 and now when I try to open an existing Excel spreadsheet, they block access to it with a "box" about signing up for MS Office. If I closed the box, the Excel spreadsheet closed too. My relative told me to select the spreadsheet, right click, then select Open With "Libre Calc". It works. Yah!
