113778, which was their update on the issue. 

<span class="quote">> I figured out what the problem is.  Microsoft is trying to force me to buy their Office Suite.  They updated on Nov. 7, 2017 and now when I try to open an existing Excel spreadsheet, they block access to it with a "box" about signing up for MS Office.  If I closed the box, the Excel spreadsheet closed too.  My relative told me to select the spreadsheet, right click, then select Open With "Libre Calc".  It works.  Yah!  So, delete my bug report (<a class="bz_bug_link
