The bug is still present, the steps mentioned by Buovjaga do not affect the
bug;
that is, changing the document's language (i.e. for the spelling checker) does
not change the proposed labels for the caption.
I'm assuming LibreOffice does some kind of 'mapping' when it loads a document
to change the default English labels to their corresponding values in the
current UI language. However I think the UI language should not affect the
contents of a document at all.
Basically my use case is this: I want my user interface to be in my native
language, but still be able to create English documents, using English caption
labels. Currently, I'm forced to change my user interface language to English.</pre>
