        <pre>I think this should be reopened.  I would like to see this option too.  My
use-case for this is limiting my output text files to 80 characters, which is a
common requirement for various internet submissions (like GameFAQS for
example).  I used to adjust the document in MS Word so that it would fit only
80 characters per line, then on saving convert the soft line wraps to hard line
wraps in the output TXT file.  This is very useful and I see no reason why it
shouldn't at least be an aspiration to add this functionality in LibreOffice.</pre>
