<pre>(<a href="https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.0">https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.0</a> refer to thus bug, but
there's little substance)
What I wanted to suggest for the new favourite characters is:
Instead of letting the user add quite a lot of favourite characters, let the
user define sets of favourite charcaters for the following reasons: The special
characters needed depend on the context (e.g. symbols for mathematical
formulas, bullets for lists, foreign language characters, etc.) most of the
time.
Also make sure that the user can see metadata of the favorite character
selected (e.g. hovering displays some info bubble), as many characters may look
very similar (consider the different types of dashes Unicode offers)</pre>
