I definitely agree we should add a message of some kind about why we can't enable OpenCL. In the specific case of OSX, Apple maintains their specification support here: <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202823">https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202823</a> I'm running very new hardware, and it refuses to enable for me.
