<pre>I deleted LibreOffice completely using
sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*
then, I downloaded and installed the latest version of LibreOffice from
<a href="https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/">https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/</a>
using
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
and it no longer crashes
