This is a case of not knowing what to do. Having moved from scribus to libre
writer, I was not aware of the: "Format" > "Page Style" > "Page Tab" > "Layout
Settings" > "Page Layout" = "Right and left" setting. This provides the proper
staggered paging.
I also had to learn how to change page numbering from one style to another,
which is not so obvious.
This feature was there the whole time, I just was not yet aware of it. I found
it, and this book has since been published.
