I see that type of Microsoft Installer failure when our IT folks are pushing
updates, or some other program's update installer has left the Windows
Installer service is in an unstable state. If a program install balks, I will
just reboot to get a clean instance of the service for the msiexec.exe to run.
Installer cache can be cleared manually, but the reboot is simpler.

So, reboot and test your installation then--adjust status accordingly.

I'm comfortable calling this NOT OUR BUG.

> Thanks! Will daily builds update automatically, if so configured?

No, each daily full .msi package must be installed, personally I recommend and
prefer /a Administrative installations--and keep the Fresh release installed
with its Windows Registry footprint.

There is an experimental MAR based incremental on TB38 for Windows, and TB80
for Linux. Follow <a class="bz_bug_link
