Regardless, I'm now reasonably sure it's the missing path for GUI applications - if you could try setting this globally, as per <a href="https://serverfault.com/questions/16355/how-to-set-global-path-on-os-x">https://serverfault.com/questions/16355/how-to-set-global-path-on-os-x</a> , to /usr/local/MacGPG2/bin and retry (possibly after reboot) ?
