Why do you have that Firefox theme as step 2? It is completely unnecessary.
Breeze Dark works just fine when you switch to it in the KDE settings and open
LibreOffice. Sure, there are some issues like <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Text is black on black inside the Math formula editor with "Breeze dark" theme (KDE)"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=116585">bug 116585</a>, but not the ones you
describe.</pre>
