<pre>I agree with maxime who recently posted a comment. Although it is possible to
make tables obey the current table styling by placing them into a new document,
that is awkward and costly. Consider a large document for which an individual
is responsible for only a portion of one chapter. Who would be the appropriate
person to restart the entire document? Who would be responsible for proof
reading the new document? To what part of the organization should this cost be
assigned?
Perhaps the status of this bug should be changed as it is not yet resolved.</pre>
