        <pre>Rerunning the installer may resolve things.

But in fact, LibreOffice Windows MSI installer has a method to lay down a
desktop Icon during installations and upgrades. It is know to work correctly.
We would need to see a verbose log, msiexec.exe /i install with with a /L*v
flag.

Icons selected cross platform for desktop launchers are a GNOME styled
rendering of the ODF document types. On Wincdows the normal default icon is the
generic wite "Document", with launcher for each module its styalized ODF type.

Need info to OP to provide a verbose install log from installation when no
LibreOffice icon is laid down and prior icon is removed.</pre>
