It's the correct representation of the situation - and I hate it.

That makes everything really easy ;-).
My take: this is terrible bad usability, hard to understand, destroying an easy
dialog. Either the stepping is saved with the preset (I don't see a big
showstopper) or we go with just Automatic.</pre>
