<pre>Thanks for the backtrace and sorry if my questions were a bit unclear or
confusing. Yes, LibreOffice still uses a multitude of libraries from the
system, which is why I asked. Installing library and programs from arbitrary
sources may therefore mess up your system and might have caused LibreOffice to
fail starting. Good to know this does not seem to be the case here. :-)
With that new backtrace, I have an idea what seems to cause the issue. Can you
please try setting the environment variable 'SAL_DISABLE_CPD' to some value and
try to start LibreOffice again from command line, i.e. run
SAL_DISABLE_CPD=true .../PATH/TO/YOUR/soffice
and see whether it works then?</pre>
