Quite evidently, the three locations where we access templates, should be dealt
with together...
File / Templates
Template Manager (window, from File / Templates / Manage Templates)
File / New / Templates
if the menus at these locations are sort of uniform, even a certain degree of
"duplication" will not be a problem...
I know, I've already wrote 2-3 suggestions to this matter...
but that's how it works... how development or in my case, thinking about
developing the tool you use, is a gradual process...
In nay case, I think, "File / Templates" should have a "New from Template" menu
item, too...
this location (File / Templates) is right below Wizards...
so, creating a new document is really in the air -- so to speak :)
= = = = +1:
to make access to templates more intuitive,
here, "File / Templates" the menu item "save as template" should be present
even when there is no open document... it should be just greyed out...
why? because we learn the menu each time we access it
- - - thank you for developing LibreOffice - - -
