<pre>If I understand the problem correctly, you are not seeing expected sum when
select Sum as one of displayed aggregates in the Calc's status bar, and select
some cells on a sheet; and as far as I can tell, it's working.
So please clarify your problem:
1. Which application you are talking about specifically (you didn't mention it
in the question, and marked component as "LibreOffice" instead of a specific
component);
2. Have you made sure that the cells that you select actually contain numbers,
and not text? You may use View->Value Highlighting (Ctrl+F8) to check that.
Also the "numbers" that are actually texts often have an ampersand (') before
the number displayed in the Formula bar. Note that strings (even when they look
like numbers) would not be taken into account in the status bar's Sum.
Setting to NEEDINFO. Please make it UNCONFIRMED when you provided the requested
information.</pre>
