Well I know that it is not an Mac only bug. My point is I think i have found the source of the bug. I have initially installed Libreffice with the US locale and initially LibreOffice works fine recognize all fonts, weights and their families once I go into LibreOffice settings and attempt to change the language say from US to UK and upon restart it stops recognizing font families and weight.
