I reported this prior and was told the issue was likely due to using a build
from Ubuntu vs an "official" build. I have since removed that build and
installed via Snap, as outlined on the web site
(<a href="https://www.libreoffice.org/download/snap/">https://www.libreoffice.org/download/snap/</a>) so I assume it is official.

I am unable to locate my original post, so I cannot find what was asked to
locate further information. Could you kindly provide exactly what LibreOffice
wants and needs to see in order for this feature to work? I use PGP and SSH
keys often without any issues. I use keys for/with email, git and manual
encryption of files. I have also exported and imported keys with other
services, so I know my keysets are proper as the imports and exports are always
successful and result function as they should.

According to the information here:
<a href="https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/gpg4libre">https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/gpg4libre</a>
"installing a gnupg/gpg package will be enough, perhaps with an additional
keymanagement frontend like kleopatra or seahorse."

I have installed
gnupg / gpg version 2.2.4-1ubuntu1.2
seahorse 3.20.0-5
gpa 0.9.10-3

All of those are installed from the main/default sources and installed with all
default "factory settings and configuration" as it relates to the OS I am
using, Ubuntu 18.04-2.

Taken from the software itself, I am using LibreOffice:
Version: 6.2.0.3
Build ID: libreoffice-6.2.0.3-snap1

Please advise on what I might look for. If LibreOffice wants something specific
in config, settings or support packages, I can check for those. Otherwise,
LibreOffice is installed via snap on to a default factory setting Ubuntu
install, so nothing I can see makes me uniquely different than any other user
of the same OS and LibreOffice.</pre>
