<pre>This problem is still present in the latest versions. I verified this today in
versions 6.1.5.2 and 6.2.2.1, which I have installed. Fortunately, I still have
version 6.0.7.3 installed, and it does NOT have this problem. Scrolling through
text in Writer is also noticeably slower in versions 6.1.5.2 and 6.2.2.1, in
comparison to version 6.0.7.3. Apparently this is a regression, which prevents
me (and I assume others also) from enjoying the features in the newer releases.
I am running Ubuntu 18.10, Mate Edition, but with the Cinnamon Desktop.</pre>
