Try downloading one of the PDF's and copy/paste a paragraph out into a text editor. BTW I'm also using Win 10-64 bit, Version 1809. My current LibreOffice is 6.2.0.3 64 bit, but as shown from the first books linked in the page above, this has been around since LibreOffice 5, so I'm not sure that makes any difference.
