<pre>Thank you very much for the response! I tested out the newest version of
LibreOffice provided on a Windows 8.1 desktop, and saw that it no longer had
any of the freezing problems associated with the Portable Apps version. The
problem is fixed for now, but I'm just hoping that the newest version of
LibreOffice will make it on to the Portable Apps platform as well. Once more,
thank you for the assistance!</pre>
