I'm a new LO user so not sure which DB engine...but I believe it is Firebird.
FYI, I was downloading the local help file and noticed LO version 6.2.5 was
available. I downloaded and installed that version and the problem has gone
away, at least I can't reproduce it It was a definitely a problem with
6.2.4.2. I guess you can close the bug report. Thanks.
FYI and for grins, to reproduce, create a sheet with three "headings" in row 1,
"Col 1", "Col 2" and Col 3". In row 2 enter 123.4, 123.45, 123.456. Select
those cells and copy, then paste into the table area in Base. Import all
fields and change each to "Number" and decimal 1, 2 and 3. Click create and
examine the new table contents.
