I don't think this is an "edge case" request; other text editors (BBEdit and Notepad++ come to mind) have this option. I see this bug report was closed because it was NEEDINFO'd. I would be more than willing to supply any pertaining info needed. Just ask. Please advise to whether I should file a new bug report.
