Original DOCX and PDF'S of it generated by LO and OnlyOffice.
When Writer is used to display a DOCX format document, the result is usually
faithful to the original created on MS Word when the document consists of just
text.
I have noticed that when the document contains text boxes and/or graphic
objects the reproduction relative to the original is often poor.
The last few days I have been evaluating an office suite called "OnlyOffice".
In trying to look and behave like MS Office it fails on many levels. However,
it does display DOCX documents containing graphics objects and text boxes
exactly as in MS Word.
OnlyOffice is open source and licensed GPL V3. This means that its method of
rendering DOCX files must be freely available for peer review. Perhaps this
could provide a shortcut to closing the compatibility gap between MS Office and
LibreOffice.</pre>
