I have been finding that not having -- what I think is called "full justification", that is; justification without large spaces between words -- is a significant weakness in Writer. I don't know if it rises to the level of a "bug" or, rather, if it is more of an "enhancement" but, in any case, I think it is, as this thread shows, a long-overdue update. Unfortunately, I do not know how to work with code (I can barely understand much of this thread), so I am not able to propose a solution. Otherwise, I would be happy to put in the time and effort to understand the technical issues and work on a solution!
