<pre>Yes, if we can finish up the GSOC 2019 work by Sumit, then hanging a Single
Mode off the NB Single is minimally functional. Customization of NB in general
needs to be implemented in the Customize dialog.
Bigger issue in doing this is accessibility (a11y) as for <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - [META] Notebookbar Accessibility (a11y)"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=107316">bug 107316</a> bcz the NB
remains unsupported by accelerators, shortcuts and assigning "accessible
events" to each button widget.</pre>
