I've been too busy with a variety of things to keep current on LO versions. The most recent one I've used before this was 6.1.0.3 and two-finger scrolling on the trackpad works as it is supposed to there. It was immediately obvious when I moved up to 6.3.0.4 and starting working with a spreadsheet that there was something wrong with the horizontal scrolling. Hardware is a 13" MacBook Pro Retina. I looked for other reports of the bug and the one this comment is attached to is the only one I found.
