Input a new row, closed the table, deleted the whole table. Works here with LO 6.3.3.2 on OpenSUSE 15 64bit rpm Linux. Then I tested to add a field, but I couldn't close the window without saving the table. A dialogue appears. What did you press there if you don't save it?
