<pre>This seems to be specific to the Qt/kf5 file picker.
I can reproduce with
Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: eb6410b5cf5140a80a6d9703f26fc9a969996cfa
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.2; UI render: default; VCL: kf5;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded
but not
Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: eb6410b5cf5140a80a6d9703f26fc9a969996cfa
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.2; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded
The file name is cut off in the same way when I use e.g. Kate, which is another
application using the kf5-native file picker when run in a Plasma session.
Therefore: Does the same problem occur for you with other KDE applications as
well, like kate?</pre>
