As stated in <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=59253#c4">comment 4</a>, the bug is not present if "Edit Points" (F8) is off (Only outline rectangle is shown and editable, not the individual points of the curve). If "Edit Points" (F8) is on (i.e., one can edit individual points of a curve), as soon as one curve is selected, shift-drag to add to the selection does not work any more. So I think that the test case with the attached drawing can be simplified to: (1) Make sure that "Edit Points" (F8) is on. (2) Select any of the curves. (3) Shift-drag oven one or several objects to add them to the selection. This object or these objects will not selected (but should be selected).
