it's a very old problem ...
personally i'd like to get some of these old problems eradicated
(comment-slowdowns, autocalculate-hangs, shared formulas, circularity /
iteration problems ...) because they undermine the trustworthiness of the
program, but they are complex, it's difficult code and hard work, ...
