Waiting back a fix for KDE, you can launch a term/console and type:
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen && soffice
or
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 && soffice
You can also make an alias so it's not too long to type.</pre>
