I'm still using Windows XP and I am running LibreOffice 5.1.2.2.
I tried to update to the last version available for XP (5.4.7.2) so I
downloaded it here:
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/5.4.7.2/win/x86/LibreOffice_5.4.7.2_Win_x86.msi
After having choosed typical/personalized (no matter which one), the installer
crashes.
Crash message:
---------------------------
LibreOffice 5.4.7.2 - msiexec.exe - Application error
---------------------------
The instruction at "0x67226930" addressed the memory at "0x67226930". The
memory can not be "written".
I tried installing 5.4.7.2 on a clean XP machine and it worked fine.
I understand that this version is old and development is closed, but it seems a
joke not being able to to reach the last available version.
