No need for master document. The attached file has a section wrapping from "copyright" to table of contents, and is hidden when variable "book eq 1" . The variable book is in the fist page in front of "Using..." and displays 1. On exporting to PDF, the hidden section is omitted but the bookmark for section entry "Status Bar" should have indicated page 5 and now displays page 10.
