<pre>Hi schlebe,
What you see is not LaTeX expression of the formula, but rather the LibreOffice
Math expression. And from my test result, LibO Math hasn't been using the
backslash symbol \ in its expression for quite a while (I tested version
5.2.7). You may also notice that it uses "int from {...} to {...}" syntax
instead of the "\int_{...}^{...}" one in LaTeX.
I don't use Math myself so can't be sure there was ever a time it used
backslash.</pre>
