<pre>I forgot to mention: Windows Search writes a log file:
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\GatherLogs\SystemIndex
SystemIndex.1.gthr
My log file contained an entry for every *.odt file skipped during index
process:

8000000c and 80070057 look like error codes, but i don't know the meaning.</pre>
