<pre>Thank you for your attention to my bug report. Please mark my bug report as a
duplicate of 128803 but not of any of those other much earlier bugs. I never
had this problem until I was using the versions of GNOME and mutter that ship
in Ubuntu 19.10. My work-around was to install XFCE4 from the Ubuntu repository
and when I log into an XFCE session instead of GNOME all of the problems
disappeared completely. With no 'mutter' there was no problem. I think
according to the print screens I attached to this report that the people who
support mutter have this as a high severity bug.</pre>
