        <pre>Description:
It doesn't need to be exactly that, but any indicator would be nice. I would
like to be able to make part of the sheet constantly locked and quickly and
obviously know it is locked. This is intended for a constantly updated log
finance sheet. It would be terrible to accidentally edit historical data;
however, I would like to keep adding new data and quickly be able to protect
it. However, since I can't tell what is protected and unprotected just by
looking at the sheet, it is scary. Right now, I try to use the record feature,
but it still makes me nervous. I'm using the protection as a "read-only" sort
of feature.

I tried to use conditional formatting; however, I can only test against the
protect setting and not the mode. This means it can indicate cells are
"protected" if their "protect" setting is selected, but it ignores if the sheet
itself is NOT in protected mode. This means I can still edit cells that are
conditionally formatted as "protected".
