<pre>Native packages on Debian are .deb, why to use .rpm?

Debian 10 Buster is the last stable Debian
(<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debian_version_history">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debian_version_history</a>) but as I indicated in a
previous comment, stable is more for servers not for desktop.
That's why I'd recommend you to install Debian testing.

Finally here's an url about how to install packages from testing on a stable if
you want absolutely to stick on stable:
<a href="https://we.riseup.net/debian/installing-testing-packages-on-stable">https://we.riseup.net/debian/installing-testing-packages-on-stable</a>

I think you should read a bit about Debian concerning packages (including
packages format), repositories and apt.</pre>
