<pre>Moving to a standardised system of letter by letter indexing would fix this bug
– BUT is it likely to be implemented in the near future? If not, it would be
better, IMV, for now, to just "patch" the existing system by improving the way
it alphabetises non-alphabetical characters.</pre>
