<pre>Let me add that there's hardly a "proper" was to do this.
Because when you removed italic from Test2, you might've said:
1. I just want to reset - and this would be wrong, further enters bring what
you didn't want - but you should have removed direct format, not again applied
a new one.
2. I do not want any italic now - and this would be correct, further enters
carry correct intention - so this all makes sense with some understanding.</pre>
