<pre>Thanks a lot Timur.
My bug report is a general flag - usually the problem is sorted by addressing
User Profile matters, but that should to be necessary. As mentioned, I use a
very wide variety of applications, and this never happens to any other software
upgrades.
As to your questions
* How do you upgrade, via OS or debs or PPA, which OS do you use?
This upgrade was automatically done by the regular Ubuntu updater
* Is this the same as bug <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Keeping additional spell checker files after update"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=91069">Bug 91069</a>, reported for Mac, or bug <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - System input language is always ignored on Linux"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=108151">Bug 108151</a> -
System?
I have not checked. Will do so.
* What does it mean that spellchecker doesn't work, does it lack language
support or it's turned off or what?
When selecting Tools | Spelling, the Spellcheck window is not called.
* Please explain what you have in Tools-Extensions and Tools Options Languages
before and after upgrade.
I will not be able to confirm the setting prior to upgrade.
Tools-Extensions: I usually have none
Tools | Language: I usually use UK English, and the upgrade did reflect that.
Thanks a lot!</pre>
