Description:
I am a writer. I have been using OpenOffice for several years. Then downloaded
LibreOffice on February 8th.
For the last week or so, I noticed that there was some confusion between the
two programs. Sometimes a file would open in Open, other times in Libre. Then I
could not save in Libre as I would get a message that the file was locked by
Open, and I would have to save with a new file name. Very confusing. So several
days ago I deleted OpenOffice.
I did notice that some paragraphs at the end of files disappeared after I had
saved them, but perhaps without closing them before Libre closed.
It was after I deleted Open , that I began getting messages that Libre crashed
on closing. At the moment, Libre only opens in safe-mode.
I am not an IT specialist, but hope this information helps.
Actual Results:
I deleted OpenOffice
I saved document files
I closed Libre
message that Libre crashed on closing
Expected Results:
Libre should close normally
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
now only open in safe mode
