Just tried with LibreOffice Version: 6.4.3.2
Build ID: 747b5d0ebf89f41c860ec2a39efd7cb15b54f2d8
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded
I'm running Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon with 5.3.0-46-generic kernel.
Smartphone is attached to PC, I put files test1.odt and test1.docx in folder
mtp://%5Busb%3A002,003%5D/Internal%20storage/Android/data
If I launch LibreOffice Writer from PC's start menu, I can do File/Open and
open those files and see the contents, no problem. Filenames in title bar have
"(remote)" appended to them.
If I go into Nemo file manager on the PC, go to that folder in the phone, and
double-click on either of the files, I see the LibreOffice splash-screen appear
for a few seconds, then it goes away, never get anything else or LibreOffice
Writer app.
Is there some kind of logging I can turn on, so I can send a log to you ?
Note: I'm planning to change OS to Ubuntu 20.04 in a week or so, so my test
environment will change.
