<pre>I also suffer (really) from this issue. For ages. Today I found out that if you
insert a comment then the clipboard options become enabled and you can paste
into the comment.
So the situation is as follows:
- I copy from another app.
- cannot paste from the menu
- shift-ctrl-v does nothing
Then when I insert a comment en set the cursor in the yellow widget and press
shift-ctrl-v the paste dialog pops up and I can paste.
So Libreoffice seems aware of the new clipboard content but did not update it's
UI correctly.</pre>
