<pre>Should have said the 'object' is the groups in pink on either sheet.
Also the sys crashes to a profile reload, not complete reboot as I first said.
I think the relevant line in the syslog is:

For *this* problem I have seen crash references to Xorg but the crash log is a
30Mb file.</pre>
